Honour for actress from Assam

GUWAHATI, May 4 - Kristna Saikia, an actress from Assam who has acted in crossover films which were part of the Cannes Film Festival from 2012 to 2015, American film market in Santa Monica, Oscar contention and more than ten international film festivals worldwide, has been honoured with the �Maharashtra Gaurav Samman� (Pride of Maharashtra Award) by EIN news channel, Indian Express News, as an actress contributing to art and cinema.

She will be very soon seen in a much-awaited film, Kamasutra 3D, directed by Rupesh Paul, which is scheduled to be released in over 6,000 theatres worldwide, a press release said.
