Honda to launch updated Activa with BS6-compliant

By The Assam Tribune

Honda is ready to launch the first BS6 two-wheeler of India on June 12. Whether it will be a scooter or a bike is unknown, but is expected to be an updated Honda Activa. A teaser video revealing the launch has been released by the company, which shows a pin falling on the ground with a text reading please hold a pin drop silence.

The BS6-complaint Honda Activa may be either the 110cc Activa 6G or the 2019 Activa 125. The upcoming all-new Activa BS-VI will be built on a completely new platform with a fuel-injected engine. The scooter is likely to get the smartphone connectivity as its highlight and many new state-of-the-art features including all-LED lighting and a fully-digital instrument panel.

Honda Activa BS-VI will also be getting drum and disc brake options with Honda's Combi-brake system, telescopic front suspension and tubeless tyres. We can expect the new scooter to be priced around Rs.62,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda Activa with BS-VI emission norms, will make the scooter a tough competitor to similar other scooters in its segment.
