The coordination meeting, which was attended by Inspector General of Police (Eastern Range) LR Bisnoi and other police, CRPF and Army officials, decided to carry out the offensive exercise in all sensitive and vulnerable areas immediately. The coordinated offensive exercise should however not create sense of fear and terror in the villages during the Bihu festivity, IGP Bishnoi told the officers.
