By Correspondent

ITANAGAR, June 26 - The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today paid homage to the 20 Indian Army personnel who lost their lives during the recent violent faceoff with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, as part of the partys nationwide Shaheedon Ko Salam Divas.

The programme started with the lighting of lamps at the Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan here. Party workers, along with members of all its frontal wings, paid floral tribute to the soldiers, who were martyred while protecting the territorial integrity of the nation.

A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the martyrs. The Sagalee Block Congress Committee also organised a similar programme at Sagalee. APCC president Nabam Tuki and vice president Techi Tagi Tara attended it.
