Holistic healthcare plan launched

By Staff reporter

GUWAHATI, Jan 18 Addressing the issue of making quality medical treatment affordable, GNRC introduced a holistic healthcare plan, GNRC Assure recently at the GNRC Six Mile Hospital premises.

The scheme is designed to reduce the healthcare expenses of a larger section of the society.

GNRC Assure is a healthcare membership plan that will ensure significant discounts to its members on various healthcare services at GNRC hospitals and select partner healthcare institutions, a press release stated.

The health scheme is being offered in three variants, including platinum, gold, and silver.

A member of GNRC Assure can avail a maximum of 60 per cent discounts on services at GNRC Hospitals.

If a family of four members takes membership under the platinum card then they need to pay Rs 7,680 annually which works out to a mere Rs 21 per day. Along with this a member will be able to avail four consultations completely free of cost, the release stated.

This all encompassing membership plan is different from health insurance as it does not have any exclusions and it covers all OPD related services which are not covered by health insurance.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Dr Nomal Chandra Borah, CMD of GNRC Hospitals, said, Our efforts are centered in assuring the people that at GNRC they not only receive high quality treatment but they will also have a way now to reduce their expenses on medical care.
