GUWAHATI, July 5 - Hindustani Kendriya Vidyalaya (HKV) emerged champions in the Fairyland High School organised Summer Challenge Inter School Cricket Tournament.
In the low scoring but thrilling summit clash at the Latasil playground here today, HKV edged past Guru Nanak High School in Super Over as the match ended in tie.
Put into bat Guru Nanak were all out for 67 in 12.1 overs in the 20-over encounter. Danish Hussain was the top scorer with 26.
In reply HKV team was also all out for 67 in 19 overs with Saket Kumar (25) being the leading scorer. Danish Hussain was adjudged best player of the final.
