The key word in Hiren Das poetry is love. Similarly, the key word in Hiren Das life was love. Now-a-days we all feel very lonely because we suffer from self love. But Hiren Da was connected with people, while his love for others floweth over, even as others too showered him with unfettered love, observed Dr Ram Kumar Mukhopadhyay, an eminent writer from West Bengal while remembering Late Hiren Bhattacharjya on his 88th birth anniversary through a You Tube video uploaded by Hiren Bhattacharjya Nyas.

Apart from bhalobasa, another key feature of his poetry is sabuj - green is the connotation for youth. He had deep love for the young people and he always believed that he can take rebirth by connecting himself with the young ones, added Dr Mukhopadhyay.

Dr Mukhopadhyay recited some of his poems and analysed unique capabilities of the poets evergreen works.
