JAGIROAD, Feb 11 � The Morigaon district Samiti in association with the Jagi Bhakatgaon unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad organised a Hindu Sanmilan of VHP at Jagi Bhakatgaon under Mayong Circle in Morigaon district on February 8. The day- long programme began with lighting of 50 earthen lamps by the unit president, Hiren Sarma along with its former president, secretary and office bearers of the parishad. District president, Birinchidhar Burhagohain hoisted the religious flag which was followed by �Go-mata� puja by a social worker, Bharat Sarma.
The open session was presided over by the district president which Gobin Ch Das, a social worker of the area inaugurated. International Mahamantri, VHP, Sampat Rai, VHP leader, Manik Das among others spoke on the open session as chief guest and distinguished guest. The speakers spoke on various burning problems of India.
