JAGIROAD, June 4 - A free health-cum-check up camp was organised by the Assam Medical Service Association�s Morigaon district unit in association with the District Tobacco Control Cell of Morigaon at Kamarkuchi village under Nellie State Dispensary recently in sync with World No Tobacco Day.
Altogether, 200 patients were rendered medical attention by a 10-member team of doctors from Morigaon district, namely Dr Suneswar Deoraja, Dr Dulal Chandra Medhi, Dr Rekha Bhuyan, Dr Dharmeswar Ranghang, Dr Jayanta Kumar Nath, Dr Sailendra Bordhan Bora, Dr Binayak Sarma, Dr Chandra Singh Dewri and Dr Mrinal Kumar Bora.
Free medicines were also distributed among the poor and needy patients who came from various interior villages of the district.
