GUWAHATI, June 17 - The Viswa Hindu Parishad, Guwahati Mahanagar Samity at its meeting held here on Sunday with Dr Prabinendra Nabis in the chair, decided to open a free health camp for the Ambubachi Mela pilgrims at Kamakhya on June 21, according to a press release issued today by Samity president Santi Kr Singha.
Decisions to celebrate Krishna Janmastami in August and arrange a pilgrimage to Puri on July 24 for 42 pilgrims were also taken at the meeting. Thirty senior and prominent citizens were also felicitated on the occasion.
