JORABAT, March 5 - An awareness cum discussion programme on the occasion of World Hearing Day was held at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH)�s OPD complex on Sunday. The theme of the programme was �Check your Hearing�.
The programme was presided over by Dr Kalpana Sarma, Prof cum HoD, ENT, GMCH.
Dr Arnab Sarma, GMCH Superintendent and Dr Bhupen Nath, SNO, NPPCD were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Dr Hironya Bora, Dr KK Bora, Dr AK Biswas and all the faculty of GMCH attended the programme as resource persons.
The objective of the programme was to create awareness on how to prevent deafness and hearing loss, promote ear and hearing care services among the general public.
