DOOMDOOMA, June 1 - Tinsukia District Elementary Education Officer (DEEO) Abdul Jelil suspended the headmaster of Dorjijan Orang LP School during a school visit on Wednesday. The headmaster was absent from the school without any prior notice.
The DEEO also visited Kordoiguri ME School on Wednesday. During his visit, the DEEO found the headmaster of Kordoiguri ME School Jitendra Nath Moran and an assistant teacher of the school, Dibru Mahanta, absent in the school without prior notice. The headmaster left the school after signing on the attendance register. The DEEO ordered for pay held up of the headmaster for an indefinite period. On the other hand, a day�s salary of Dibru Mahanta was deducted for remaining absent from the school without any prior notice.
