GUWAHATI, Aug 17 - The All Karbi Anglong Tribal Students� Union has welcomed the Gauhati High Court verdict wherein the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has been directed to frame a new set of rules under the Sixth Schedule within six months in order to conduct any election to the Council. In a press statement, the students� body urged the chief executive member of the KAAC to include JI Kathar and some other prominent personalities in the drafting committee for framing the constitution of district council rules.
