TIHU, Sept 15 - Hayna Club of Subankhata entered into the semifinal of the Tarun Dutta, Satish Haloi and Madan Sarma Memorial Football Championship.
In the fourth quarterfinal of the championship at the Makhibaha High School playground today, Hayna Club trounced MASA, Mukalmua 3-2. Golap Baro, Rupa Baro and Dhiraj of Hayna Club scored one goal each while Ritu Ali netted both the goals for the losing side.
The first semifinal will be played between 24th IRBn Saraimari and GATSA of Goreswar on September 18.
The tournament has been organised by the Makhibaha Krira Sangha on the occasion of its golden jubilee year.
