Handique team wins girls� quiz contest

GUWAHATI, Dec 11 - The second Kshiroda Choudhury Memorial Quiz Competition for girls was held online under the aegis of Naari Saraswat Mancha on December 6, according to a press release issued here today.

As many as 61 teams mostly comprising two members each participated in the contest held using Google Form and was open for girl students from Class XI to post graduate level.

Anuradha Rana Das and Nilakshi Deka from Handique Girls� College emerged first in the competition held in four rounds of ten questions each with an allocated time of fifteen minutes per round. Pratiksha Dey and Smita Choudhury from Cotton University emerged second, while the third prize was shared jointly between Nikita Rahman�s team from Nalbari College and Ipsah Akhtar�s team from B Borooah College.

The top three teams were awarded cash prizes of Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500 and Rs 1,000 respectively by the family of Kshiroda Choudhury along with a certificate to each member of the winning teams.
