HAILAKANDI, May 21 - The District-level Land Valuation Committee approved the revision of land prices in Hailakandi district.
The district-level committee headed by Deputy Commissioner Adil Khan during its meeting recently revised and updated the market value of land in the district.
The revision of land prices under four revenue circles of Hailakandi district covering both rural and urban areas have been assessed under the classification of commercial, residential and agricultural land category.
Issuing a notification to this effect on Friday, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Revenue, Ruth Lienthang, said the valuation of commercial, residential and agricultural land in both rural and urban areas falling under Hailakandi, Lala, Algapur and Katlicherra revenue circles have been made after assessment by the senior assistant settlement officer.
Land values were evaluated as per the prevailing market price. It may be mentioned that 30 days have been given from the date of publication of the notification for filing of claims and objections by the general public in the Settlement Office within the stipulated period.
