Hagrama asks Akhil to work in BTC

By Staff reporter

GUWAHATI, July 18 BPF leader Hagrama Mohilary on Sunday dubbed Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) secretary Akhil Gogoi as gathia or the short-statured one and invited him to the BTC area to work for the welfare of the farmers.

Mohilary was addressing the rally of the Congress and BPF at the Khanapara Veterinary College ground and imitated surprise at Akhil Gogoi giving out statements from the capital city.

I wonder what Gogoi is doing in Guwahati. If he claims to be working for the farmers he must not be in Guwahati. He should come to the BTC area and teach our farmers, said Mohilary, announcing that he was fed up with the baseless criticisms heaped upon the government and Himanta Biswa Sarma, and offered to mediate between Gogoi and Himanta for the beginning of a friendship.

Mohilary observed that Gogois recent vituperation against the government must have a hidden agenda and speculated that Gogoi must be considering of contesting the coming Assembly elections.

He asserted that none of the ministers were involved in the NC Hills scam and that the Congress and the BPF will get the mandate of the people again.
