Guwahati, April, 25: Massive fire broke out at Bamunimaidan Railway Colony Market near Railway Hospital field around 1 am in Guwahati today. Fire from the market place entered the adjacent railway quarters, no loss of life has been reported till now. Dozens of shops were gutted under fire.
The fire tenders from the fire department swung into action to douse the flames after they were informed about the incident. The cause of fire is yet to ascertain.
Details of more damages and investigation are awaited.
