Guwahati, March 30: Housing & Urban Affairs and Irrigation Minister of Assam, Ashok Singhal on Wednesday mentioned that installation work for new CCTV cameras in Guwahati has already started.
While mentioning a variety of ongoing development projects and security measures in the area, Singhal remarked that "the installation work for new CCTV cameras in the city is going on and mentioned that penalty would be charged if a vehicle is caught violating any traffic rules in the camera.
Singhal also stated that clearance of the bridges over Bahini River which severely obstructs the river and also became a prime issue of flash floods in the vicinity has also begun.
