Earlier, Silchar lost their first wicket in the form of Rajdeep Das (0) at teams total of three. After that the second wicket partnership between Raju Das and Naman Sharma added 23 runs and the fourth wicket partnership between Samik Das and Mihir Barman resulted 35 runs which were the successful partnerships of the Silchar innings. After Mihirs departure at 78 for five, wickets started tumbling in quick succession. Aamik Das was the top scorer with 24 while Sukanta Dey contributed 18.
