GUWAHATI, March 14 � Former champions Guwahati recorded eight-wicket victory against Dibrugarh in the semifinal league match of the on going Nuruddin Trophy Senior Inter District (Elite Group) Cricket Tournament.
On the final day of the three-day match at the NF Railway Stadium, Maligaon today, Dibrugarh, resuming at the overnight total of 137 for seven were all out for 168 in their second innings and set a winning target of 141 for Guwahati.
The local boys crossed the target in 26 overs losing two wickets. With today�s win, Dibrugarh set up the title clash with Nagaon as both the teams have won two matches, out of three, each in the league phase.
