GUWAHATI, March 8 - The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) organised a public meeting at Bikash Nagar Rajahuwa Namghar, Borsajai here today to create awareness among the residents about the new water supply project being implemented by the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). After completion, the project will be fully managed by the GJB.

In the meeting, the project team emphasised on the core message that after completion of this new water supply project, the residents of Guwahati will get 24x7 clean and treated drinking water with adequate pressure.

The meeting started with the screening of a documentary based on the project, followed by a power point presentation and an interactive session between the public and the project team members.
