GUWAHATI, March 16 � Guwahati took a 58-run first innings lead against Nagaon on the opening day of the three-day semifinal league match of the Nuruddin Trophy Senior Inter District (Elite Group) match at the NF Railway Stadium, Maligaon today.

In reply to Nagaon�s first innings total of 174, Guwahati were 232 for eight at stumps.
