GUWAHATI, Feb 17 - Guwahati clinched the title in the JK Barooah U-19 Inter District Cricket Championship with an innings and 53-run victory against Barpeta.
On the final day of the two-day summit clash at the DSA ground, Barpeta today, the host team was all out for 146 in their second innings as they needed 200 to make Guwahati bat again.
Earlier, Guwahati, resuming at overnight total of 300 for six, were all out for 321 and took a massive 199-run first innings lead.
Riyan Parag received the man-of-the-final award for his brilliant all round show. Riyan also received the best batsman award while his team mate Abir Chakraborty was picked for the best bowler award.
