GUWAHATI, April 3 - Guwahati Blind School clinched the title in the Inter Blind School Cricket Tournament held at the Guwahati Blind School premises, Basistha here yesterday. The tournament was organised by NGO, Care U 365.
In the final Guwahati team defeated Jorhat Blind School by 10 wickets. In the 8-over match, Jorhat were all out for 43 and in reply Guwahati scored 44 with 12 balls to spare.
Nagaon and Bihpuria blind schools also took part in the meet. Rajdeep Dakua of the winning team received the man-of-the-final award while Hemanta Dutta of the Jorhat team was adjudged man-of-the-series and best batsman.
