GUWHATI, Jan 17 � Governor PB Acharya has extended his congratulations to the State�s police force and other security and intelligence agencies for the successful arrest of 18 NDFB (S) militants and other successive arrests of the militants who have been responsible for the recent largescale massacre of Adivasi people.
�The Governor is very much concerned about the terrible crime against humanity and wanted a swift, decisive action against the perpetrators of the crime,� an official release said.
He appealed to all, including the different tribal groups to be united and work for peace and prosperity.
�In a democracy, violence has no place. Bullets cannot be the solution, only dialogue is the answer,� he said.
