GUWAHATI, Feb 27 - Governor Banwarilal Purohit has expressed his deep sense of grief at the loss of 17 lives in a road mishap in West Khasi Hills in Meghalaya on Sunday morning. The deceased belonged to Nginiong, Nongbudum and Mawbyrkong villages in West Khasi Hills.
Purohit conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery of the injured, an official release said.
