GUWAHATI, Nov 17 � Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School prevailed over Fairyland High School by three wickets in today�s match of the Bud Cricket Club organised Sitaram Agarwal Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament (U-16) at the Judges� Field here today.
In a high scoring match, Fairylad gathered a commendable total of 219 in 40 overs riding on two half centuries by Sanu Kumar (65) and Kausar Ali (52). Dhiraj Kumar was their other notable contributor with 35.
But, making a hot chase the Gurukul boys reached the winning target (221) in 37.4 overs losing seven wickets.
