IMPHAL, June 8 - A �gun manufacturing unit� was busted at Langol Game Village Zone-1 in Imphal West district today by Manipur police who also seized various related items and arrested the person running the �unit�.
Police said, one Yangkholet Haokip was running the �gun manufacturing unit� at his residence. The police on learning the development, cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation.
The police claimed that two country made pistols, some parts of country made pistol, equipments and tools used in making country made pistols, one computer set used for printing underground demand letters and receipt books, 97 �demand letters�, etc., were seized from the residence. The police said the owner of the computer set was also picked up.
