NEW YORK, Sept 26 � Ahead of his arrival in the US, a federal court here has issued summons against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his alleged role in the 2002 communal violence in Gujarat when he was the State�s Chief Minister, reports PTI.
The summons against Modi were issued yesterday following a lawsuit filed by the American Justice Center, a human rights organisation, along with two survivors of the violence.
