JALUKBARI, April 7 - The Gauhati University Teachers� Association (GUTA) will hold its annual general meeting at the Phanidhar Datta Seminar Hall of Gauhati University on April 11.
GUTA general secretary Dr Jagadish Sarma stated that Dr Kuladhar Saikia, eminent litterateur and Special Director General of Police (Law & Order), Government of Assam, is likely to be the chief guest. The meeting will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University, Dr Mridul Hazarika.
The general secretary�s report, expenditure statement, speeches by the newly-elected president and general secretary, and issues pertaining to the development of the university will be part of the meeting.
