GUWAHATI, May 26 - Gauhati University has started the process for PG admissions for the session 2019-20, stated a press release issued here on Sunday.
There will be a Common Entrance Test for admission into the postgraduate programmes of study in the university departments and its affiliated colleges. The university has announced 12 examination centres, to be located in Bongaigaon, Sonitpur, Diphu, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Nagaon, Pathsala, Silchar, North Lakhimpur and Gauhati University, as well as in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
The entrance tests will be held from June 29 to July 3, 2019. The entire process of submission of forms is online, and the last date for submission of forms and payment of entrance fee is June 15, 2019.
Students seeking admission under EC, FV, NCC, NSS, etc., quota have to submit the downloaded prescribed form either in the Office of the Director of Students� Welfare or in Room No. 14 of the Office of the Secretary, University Classes, GU, on or before June 15, 2019.
