GUWAHATI, March 5 - Gauhati Town Club (GTC) trounced River Rine Club by five wickets in their match of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Memorial GSA Inter Club Cricket Tournament.
Opting to bat first, River Rine were all out for 104 in 31.4 overs at the IIT ground in North Guwahati today. Ruprajeet Deka (5/12) wrecked the River Rine innings with a devastating spell.
The GTC boys took 23.5 overs in the 35-over match to reach the target losing five wickets.
For River Rine Arijeet Barooah top scored with 27 while Ram Kripal Gupta of GTC hit 39 which made it easy for his team.
