GUWAHATI, March 19 - Gauhati Town Club (GTC) prevailed over Goalpara Cricket Academy on better run rate as the Assam Cricket Association organised Assam Premier Club Championship match at the Judges� Field here today was called off due to bad weather.
Put into bat, GTC gathered a commendable total of 220 for eight in 40 overs. Goalpara CA were 95 for six after 21 overs when bad weather forced to call the match off. But as per the tournament rules GTC were declared winners based on a better run rate.
