GUWAHATI, July 8 � Gauhati Town Club, the oldest sports club of the region, to celebrate the successful completion of 5 years of its GTC Chess Foundation, will organize an International Open FIDE rated chess tournament billed as GTC Classic Chess 2015 at its premises from July 22 to 26.
The tournament carries attractive cash award and is open to all players of the country.
The tournament has been recognised by the All Assam Chess Association (Ad-hoc Committee) All India Chess Federation and World Chess Federation (FIDE), stated a release.
