GUWAHATI, Jan 19 � Manthan Kashyap Datta clinched the 1st edition of the GTC Chess Grand Prix. Altogether 76 players participated in the day-long event yesterday. This year the event has been divided in to three category viz Under 9, Under 19 and Open category. The tournament was conducted by Biswajit Bharadwaj as the chief arbiter and assisted by Nandan Buragohain and Tralokya Nanda as deputy arbiters, stated a release.
