GSA tie ends in a 1-1 draw

GUWAHATI, Aug 1 � Jewel Star Club and Chandmari Sports Club played a 1-1 draw in the GSA A Division football league for the Jibeswar Goswami Trophy at the Nehru Stadium here today. In the closely played match, Rahajuddin Ahmed placed Jewel Star ahead in the 41st minute anticipating a pass from Pabitra Boro.

After changing over, Ramen Boro fired the equaliser in the 58th minute off a well planned move. Jacky Sangma set the ball for Ramen inside the box who took no time to shot home.
