GUWAHATI, Nov 1 - Betkuchi High School (girls) and Bishnujyoti School (boys) clinched the titles in the GSA organised Dilip Kumar Chanda and Minati Chanda Memorial Inter School Volleyball Championship.

In the finals played at the GSA Volleyball Coaching Centre at the Judges� Field here today, Betkuchi girls defeated TC Girls HS School 3-1 while the Bishnujyoti HS boys downed Distant Academy 3-2.

The championship, was inaugurated yesterday by K Chanda, organised in memory of his parents who were the founders of the South Point School, Guwahati. Altogether five girls and four boys teams took part in the meet.

Parismita Baruah of TC Girls was adjudged best player. In the closing function DSO, Kamrup S Teron and GSA president Munin Nobis were present as guest.
