MANGALDAI, Oct 12 � Green Valley Sports Club, Guwahati cruised into the summit clash of the 33rd Amba Medhi memorial all India invitational football tournament with a thumping 7-0 against Manipur outfit Lalmai Youth Progressive Society at Mangaldai Stadium today.
Dominating the proceeding from the word go the Guwahati team scored almost at their will Nigerian striker Michael Lucky registered a hattrick scoring in the 51st, 72nd and 77th minutes respectively while his fellow countrymate George Prince opened the account in very 8th minute. Moreover Chayaram Basumatary converted a penalty in the 47th minute where as Maneswar Musahary scored the 7th goal during injury time. Meanwhile the helpless Manipur team conceded a self goal in the 60th minute.
