GUWAHATI, Aug 22 � Green Valley Sports Club and Dynamo Club shared points in today�s match of the RG Baruah Super Division Football League playing a goalless draw at the Nehru Stadium here.
The league resumed after a gap of two days.
Even though the Green Valley boys were in commanding position, enjoying territorial supremacy, they failed the break the deadlock.
Their Nigerian strikers � Micheal Lucky and George Prince � made a couple of mistakes in the final moments. In the first session, both the strikers came close to scoring but they missed the target with some ill-directed shots. Dynamo goalkeeper Basta Marandi made some good saves under the bar.
In the second session, Dynamo frontliners � Kh Amojao Singh and Manjit Rabha � showed aggression and troubled the opponent defenders with some quick exchange of the ball. They were also not accurate in shooting at the goal.
City Police rout Rajbari: City Police handed a 6-0 drubbing to Rajbari Athletic Club in the Jibeswar Goswami A Division Football League. Nirab Dewri opened the sluice gate in the 24th minute while Pranab Das made it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Amulya Das put the Police team 3-0 ahead at the break by scoring in the 40th minute.
After the break, Ajoy Basumatary netted the fourth goal in the 68th minute. Pranab Das and Rinku Medhi scored two snap goals in the 67th and 68th minutes to complete the rout.
