GUWAHATI, Aug 21 - FC Green Valley earned full points in today�s match of the GSA Super Division Football League for the RG Baruah Trophy.
In a well contested encounter at the Nehru Stadium here, Green Valley defeated Sunrise Athletic Club 3-2.
Michael Lucky Kelechukwu drew first blood in the 24th minute to give Green Valley the lead. Joseph Mayowa made it 2-0 in the 34th minute. With a comfortable lead at the break, Green Valley netted their third goal in the 56th minute when Joseph beat the Sunrise custodian for the second time.
Making a late charge, Sunrise reduced the margin through Hamza Auta (60th minute) and Dipu Mirdha (68th minute).
