NALBARI, July 22 � Green Valley Sports Club clinched the title in the 35th Naroram Barman Football Tournament.

In the high voltage final played at Chamata Stadium neare here today, Green Valley Sports Club defeated Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) 1-0. After a goalless first session, Green Valley striker Gorge Prince scored the deciding goal in the 49th minute. Boath the teams despite getting several scoring opportunities failed to capitalise them. The ASEB goalkeeper Daogra Brahma foiled a good number of efforts made by Green Valley. Jeherul Islam of ASEB and Nnamdh Jonathan of Green Valley were given the marhing orders. Michal Lucky of Green Valley was adjudged as the best player of the final.
