DIMAPUR, March 13 - In a new development in the NSCN factions, president of GPRN/NSCN (NSCN-KK) Gen (retd) Kholi Konyak has declared that he has decided to join NSCN-IM under the leadership of its chairman Isak Chishi Swu and general secretary Th Muivah.

The NSCN-IM has confirmed in an official statement that Kholi has joined its fold. Since the past few weeks, news of Kholis reunion with NSCN-IM has been doing the rounds especially after his meeting with Th Muivah in New Delhi recently.

Meanwhile, the GPRN/NSCN elected its commander-in-chief Gen MB Neokpao Konyak as the new chairman of NSCN and president of GPRN. An extra ordinary emergency session at Kehoi Designated Camp on Saturday expelled Kholi from GPRN and NSCN.

Kholi, in a statement, said he completely supports the present Indo-Naga talk as the only acceptable foundation for our nations survival.
