GUWAHATI, May 30 - The Guwahati Press Club (GPC) provided health insurance of Rs 3 lakh each to two of its employees, Santosh Mahato and Bhargav Deka, on Thursday.
The initiative has been supported by Byatikram MASDO. The founder of Byatikram MASDO Sauman Bharatiya said his organisation will bear the cost of premiums for all the Guwahati Press Club employees for the next 10 years.
Guwahati Press Club president Manoj Kumar Nath said the health insurance offered by the Club is an effort towards ensuring social security for the full-time employees of the Club.
Receiving the health cards, Mahato and Deka expressed their gratitude to the newly elected executive committee of the Club.
