GUWAHATI, March 22 - The Assam Indigenous Muslims Historical and Research Foundation has hailed Dispur�s decision to constitute an Indigenous Assamese Development Corporation.

The organisation urged the government to appoint an IAS officer or an impartial competent person as managing director of the corporation.

�The Minority Development Board should not do any politics in the name of indigenous Muslims,� said IR Hazarika, secretary general of the foundation.
