GUWAHATI, Aug 24 - A virtual consultation meet of ICAR-CIFA and NFDB was held recently for leveraging institutional synergy for technology-led fresh water aquaculture development.
Dr JK Jena, Deputy Director General of ICAR, lauded the State government for its steps in the fishery sector of Assam.
Dr NK Barik, Principal Scientist from CIFA Bhubaneswar said the fishery sector in Assam is growing at 10 per cent annually due to efforts taken by the government.
