GUWAHATI, June 10 - Governor PB Acharya has congratulated the students of HSLC, High Madrassa, and HSSLC-2016, and the 10th and 12th standard CBSE-2016 students who have passed their examinations.
The Governor will felicitate the students of HSLC, High Madrassa and HSSLC who attained top ten positions. He will also felicitate the first and the second highest mark holders in the State in 12th standard CBSE-2016.
The felicitation function for the students of HSLC and High Madrassa-2016 is being organised at 11:30 am on June 16, and that for the students of HSSLC and 12th standard CBSE students will be held at 11:30 am on June 17, at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, an official release said.
All the students will be presented with certificates of appreciation and a gift pack comprising books and pens. All the position holders up to the tenth position in the merit list of HSLC, High Madrassa and HSSLC and also the first and the second highest marks holders in Assam in 12th standard CBSE examination 2016 have been invited to join the felicitation ceremony.
The certificates of appreciation from the Governor for the position holders from 11th to 20th positions in the HSLC and High Madrassa examinations have been sent to their schools and the school authorities will hand over them to the students.
