GUWAHATI, June 30 - Governor PB Acharya has expressed his satisfaction and appreciated Asam Sahitya Sabha for taking up the crucial issue of strengthening tribal and non-tribal unity.
The Governor appreciated the Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) Vice Chancellor�s constructive initiative to join hands with the Asam Sahitya Sabha and give equal respect and care to all different tribal dialects by introducing, in the first phase, a Bodo Language Certificate Course to be conducted by the Asam Sahitya Sabha in coordination with KKHSOU. �This concept is very near and dear to our Governor. He had discussed this earlier with the Asam Sahitya Sabha,� said Sabha president Dr Dhrubajyoti Borah.
