AIZAWL, Nov 25 - Mizoram State BJP has reassured that Good Governance Day will never be observed on Christmas Day in the Christian-dominated State of Mizoram.
�The BJP-led Union Government had declared December 25 as Good Governance Day to mark former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee�s birthday. We would like to assure the people of Mizoram that the day will never be observed in Mizoram on December 25, which is Christmas Day,� State BJP president Dr JV Hluna said here on Tuesday.
�We demand Congress CM Lal Thanhawla to announce that the Good Governance Day will not be observed in Mizoram on Christmas Day,� he said.
