GUWAHATI, March 16 - Colonel JPS Brar, won the Ordnance Cup with a gross score of 79 held at the Rhino Environmental Park and Training Area Narangi here yesterday.
In the women�s category, Lakshmi Singh, a Manipuri golfer, emerged winner while K Brahma was the runner-up. Many other prizes namely, longest drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin and maximum pars/birdies were also awarded to the winners. The prizes were distributed by Major General Jarken Gamlin, the senior most serving military officer of Guwahati.
Altogether 75 golfers, including six ladies took part in the day-long tournament.
